“The Girl Who Finally Cuddled Meghan, I’ve never met in my life. I have no relationship with this girl, I am not associated with her. We just happened to be standing next to each other in the crowd. We were total strangers.

“We eventually bonded over the fact that we were both really excited to see Meghan. I think of the people around us, we were the two who were most excited about it,” Charters added.

The girl who hugged Meghan, Amelka Zak, has also spoken about the experience.

“We were just waiting for her to come and she came up to me and asked how my day was, how long I was waiting. And I asked her if I could have a hug, and she hugged me back. a great moment. I’m still shaking now,” the 14-year-old told CNN shortly after meeting the Duchess.

“It was pretty nice to see William and Kate and Meghan and Harry together. And it was fine, but I just wanted to show her that she’s welcome here, I guess. And I wanted to hug her after everything that happened, really, now,” she concluded

Charters then went on to address claims that she was planted and paid for by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s PR team to craft the moment.

One Twitter user went so far as to claim that Meghan had previously met the woman at the Invictus Games, which Charters says is “crazy” because the two women pictured don’t look alike.

“I’ve seen videos and articles saying I’m this girl’s mom, saying Meghan’s PR team paid for me to be there, I was planted in that place, that I knew Meghan from back in the day from the Invictus Games…the logic isn’t there,” Charters said.

“So in the end I wanted to show that the experience and interaction we had with Meghan was really beautiful and genuine and that she was so nice to us. Even though it was short, it was very sweet,” she said.

Charters also gave some advice to her audience at the time. “Don’t believe everything you read online guys, there are so many fake stories. People go out of their way to take her down and sell fake things, and you have to rely on your own personal experiences to really judge someone,” she said. said.

“And if I’m honest, this experience made me love her even more.”
