The Queen

The Queen went to Wimbledon in 1997 and looked pretty pink. The monarch presented the trophy to British tennis player Virginia Wade after she won the Women’s Singles competition, wearing a Chanel-esque tweed pink jacket and baby pink hat.

The monarch made another colorful appearance at the tennis event in 2010, when she saw Andy Murray and Jarkko Nieminen compete for the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championship. She looked radiant in a bright turquoise ensemble with feminine cream details and a matching hat.

Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge attended the men’s singles final of the 2018 Wimbledon Championships in a striking canary-yellow dress with short sleeves, a figure-hugging fit and a crew neckline.

The following year, the Duchess stepped out in a retro white midi dress. The number exuded 1950s flair, with button-down details, short sleeves, a belted waist and a vintage silhouette.

Princess Diana looked stunning in a lilac shirt as she and a young Prince William applauded in the Royal Box on Center Court at Wimbledon, when Steffi Graf won the Women’s Singles Championship in 1991. Featuring a sweet ditsy print accented with a chunky white belt, the shirt created an eye-catching nineties look.

At the Lawn Tennis Championships at Wimbledon in 1995, Princess Diana wore a tight-fitting dress with a tailored fit, a pale sun-yellow hue and large button-down details.

Meghan Marklea

Meghan Markle opted for classic elegance in a masculine striped blue and white shirt when she was spotted at the event with Duchess Kate in 2018. Meghan looked composed in the vertical striped shirt, which she paired with cream linen pants to create a sophisticated ensemble.

Princess Anne

Princess Anne channeled My beautiful lady elegance in a checked dress and hat with mottled ribbon details at Wimbledon in 1969. The royal congratulated player Ann Jones as she received her trophy after winning the women’s singles final.
