There is an all-out cold war going on between Victoria Beckham and her new daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz, Page Six has learned.
Peltz, 27, just married Brooklyn Beckham, 23 – Victoria’s eldest son to soccer superstar David Beckham – in April. But we hear that there are problems brewing even before marriage.
“They can’t stand each other and don’t talk,” a source close to the family told us. “The run-up to the wedding was terrible.”
The source says Peltz – who is the actress daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz – didn’t want her mother-in-law to be “part of the schedule, and she wouldn’t know Victoria on anything. Communication was minimal.”
Apparently, the cold-shouldered Posh Spice, 48 — who struggled to warm to the new family member as he was — wasn’t helping to see Peltz’s bright side.
They added that it has become a “non-stop little drama,” and it comes between the Beckhams, who now live in Miami, and their model son.
“They haven’t spoken to him much in the last few months,” said a source, who told us that it even came across as bad for Chez Becks when Brooklyn ran a cover of British magazine Tatler calling Peltz “The New Mrs Beckham.” .
The sources suspect that Peltz may be a little jealous of her husband’s globally known mother, and not happy with the attention she gets, especially around her wedding day.
Peltz and Victoria Beckham were approached for comment.
