I’m a Celebrity announces final elimination

I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! spoilers follow.

I’m a celebrity has revealed that the newest contestant has been eliminated, with Chris Moyles become the sixth campmate to leave the jungle.

At the end of tonight’s episode (Nov. 24), hosts Ant and Dec walked to camp to tell Chris to pack up, while the radio DJ followed Charlene, Scarlette, Sue, Boy George and Babatunde as they left.

Speaking to Ant and Dec upon returning to the studio, Chris revealed that he knew “he would be next”, joking that he was gutted that he was “less popular than Matt Hancock”.

“I’m the only person who left the show with more anxiety,” he joked to Ant and Dec, referring to the difficulties he faced during the trials. “It’s a huge privilege and honor to do this. I won’t fully appreciate Australia until I’m free,” he said.

When asked about the trials, Chris was honest about his shortcomings, saying, “I’m not really cut out for this way of life. I’m a man who’s afraid of everything – I’m much more suited for a radio station.”

At the end of the episode, he tipped Mike, Jill, and Owen to reach the finale, saying that he would like one of the latter two to take the crown.

Earlier in the episode, Chris and Owen took on the latest Bushtucker Trial, “The Savage Sorting Office,” tasked with throwing stars into a mailbox after fishing them out of six separate containers.

Of course it wasn’t that easy, with Owen having to aim the stars while hanging in a suit of armor. The crane was operated by a blindfolded Chris, who received an electric shock every 30 seconds.

With Chris looking to atone for his one-star show earlier in the series, the pair were eager to succeed, but lightning struck twice as Owen struggled to calibrate his aim.

Elsewhere, Jill and Seann completed the ‘Deals on Wheels’, with the latter also succeeding in the ‘Outback Factory’ challenge along with Matt and Mike, winning the camp a hot breakfast.

I’m a celebrity is broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX.
