Hugh Jackman announces death of beloved French Bulldog Dali

Hugh Jackman’s beloved dog Dali has passed away.

On Sunday morning the X-Men actor shared an emotional tribute to his French Bulldog Dali and revealed that he died at the ripe old age of 11.

“It’s a very sad day for our family,” Jackman wrote. “He would have turned 12 next month…which I’m told is longevity for this breed.”

“I always, always called him the ROCKSTAR. Because he was! He marched to the beat of his own drum, was loved by the whole world, and what a good life he had.”

“We will miss him, but we know he cries in heaven, is in charge and enjoys the ‘all you can eat’ buffet,” the actor said. “RIP Dali Rockstar Jackman. We love you!”

The touching obituary was accompanied by some adorable photos of Dali and Jackman cuddling together.

Dali has been a big part of the Jackman family’s life since his adoption in 2010.

The greatest showman actor often shared photos of them going on beach trips or walking the mean streets of Manhattan.

Dali is survived by Jackman’s other dog, a poodle-terrier mix named Allegra.
