From market to glass: how to pit pomegranate and make the juice

Steps to deseed and prepare a glass of pomegranate juice:

Step 1: First cut off the flower from above.

Step 2: Score along these wider ribs of the pomegranate with a knife. Make sure to cut through the red skin and mostly through the white pith. PS: Don’t cut into the seeds or you’ll end up in a juicy mess.

Step 3: Break it open and clean the thin white membranes separating the ruby ​​jewels.

Step 4: While picking pomegranate seeds, keep throwing them into a bowl of water. Why? This is an easy way to clean the fruit.

Step 5: Now empty the pomegranate in a mixer and grind it.

Step 6: Strain the juice to remove the seeds. And, the job is done.
