Surely you have often seen an army of bright red pomegranates at the front of the fruit rack at the market. Like they’re waiting for you to take them home. Who doesn’t like to chew on these little red jewels? Well, most of the people prefer to consume it in the form of juice. Pomegranate juice is certainly one of the most loved fruit juices as they are a treat for the soul. Pomegranates are packed with antioxidants, fiber, unsaturated fats, vitamin E, vitamin K and magnesium and therefore also score high on the health quotient.
While it can be a chore to pit a pomegranate, making the juice is fairly easy. If you follow Chef Kunal Kapur’s method, you don’t even need a juicer. The chef also shared a hassle-free way to pit pomegranates in his Instagram post. So what are you waiting for? Start now.
Kunal Kapur shared the tips and wrote, “Pomegranate is a fruit that contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds along with vitamins E, K and magnesium. Learn how to easily juice it in minutes without a juicer.” Look:

Steps to deseed and prepare a glass of pomegranate juice:
Step 1: First cut off the flower from above.
Step 2: Score along these wider ribs of the pomegranate with a knife. Make sure to cut through the red skin and mostly through the white pith. PS: Don’t cut into the seeds or you’ll end up in a juicy mess.
Step 3: Break it open and clean the thin white membranes separating the ruby jewels.
Step 4: While picking pomegranate seeds, keep throwing them into a bowl of water. Why? This is an easy way to clean the fruit.
Step 5: Now empty the pomegranate in a mixer and grind it.
Step 6: Strain the juice to remove the seeds. And, the job is done.
Pour the juice into a glass and enjoy.
