2022 Commonwealth Games medal tally: Brittany O’Brien and Daniel Golubovic win silver for Australia

There were no gold medals for Australia on the eighth day of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, but two silver and seven bronze medals kept the country at the top of the standings.

There were podium finishes for Australian athletes in diving, wrestling, gymnastics and athletics.
